A solution was delivered focused on a consolidation of key products into a centralised hub-based system, supporting by air freight consolidation services. Dedicated aircraft ULD-unit load devices were designated to maximise on space and reduce shipping costs, delivering a robust door to door international service. The benefits delivered a new in house service, providing a stronger, more controlled, visible lead time consolidation capability and reduced overall logistic costs of over £3 million.
